Before, the only time I ever even drank coffee was when I was pulling a early shift at work and needed a 'boost' to help me get going. Even one cup of coffee used to give me the energy to go, but since I never liked the taste, I didn't really indulge too often. But that evening on our way, me and my friend both popped one No-Doz each (about 200 mg caffeine) and we were wide awake and jittering and jivining the whole 4 hour trip. The sudden burst of energy is unlike anything I had ever experienced. My mind was set at ease and I had a general feeling of 'goodness' in me. I was hooked.
After that, I bought a bottle of No-Doz and popped one pill as soon as I woke up every morning. At first, it gave me the instant energy and mood lift I had gotten the first time I tried it. I followed this routine for a couple of weeks, but I soon found my self taking another later in the day, or even two in the morning for that extra 'jive'. Soon, I was up to 4 in the morning, 3 around noon, and then 3 more after work at around 5ish. And on days when I didn't take them, I was sluggish and just 'didn't feel right' until I had my caffeine. I was quickly building a tolerance..
One day at work, a co-worker saw my bottle and told me about something that worked even better then caffeine. She told me about these diet pills she was taking with contained ephedrine and not only helped her lose the weight, but also gave her a similar boost. So, I went to GNC the very same day and bought myself a bottle. That night I tried them. Bam. Hooked.
The ephedrine, I found out, gave less of a boost then the caffeine but lasted A LOT longer. So, I topped my morning routine with 2 diet pills and 2 No-Doz. Now, I had incredible energy and felt wonderful, not to mention I was staying awake till the wee hours of the morning getting everything done I needed for the next day or next week or for whatever. I had found the perfect combination... I thought.
Once I started the ephedrine, it had a much more profound affect on my appetite then the caffeine did. I would go for days at a time with out eating a thing. I lost significant weight, going from 190 to 160 practically over night. Also, I stayed up later and later, going to bed typically around 4 or 5 in the morning even though I had to be up at 6. 6 o'clock came, and if I was lucky enough to even wake up, I pop some pills, boom, I'm on my way. And on days off when I had nothing planned, all I did was sleep the whole day, waking up around 3 or 4 in the afternoon or even later.
Now, just three months later, I find my allies are having less and less of an effect, and I'm starting to research 'true' speed, and have a desire to try them out. I am addicted to so called 'legal' stimulants. To those who say there is no such thing as a gateway drug, I beg to differ. I want to try meth, or even coke, and my fascination started with a simple chemical found in all sorts of food products, soft drinks, and even the morning brew millions of Americans wake up to every morning.
