My husband was taking a nap and I got bored. I remembered that a while ago I bought a big bag of damiana leaves and thought it would be fun to put them in a dry herb vape and see what happened.

I loaded up my vape with approximately .5 g of damiana leaves (I did not weigh, just judging by bowl size on my arizer eq2), set the temperature to 425°F to make sure I wouldn't miss whatever chemical in the leaves might be psychoactive, connected a bag and laid on the floor with some blankets. I cleared 3 bags of vapor while watching YouTube videos, and I noticed a slight buzzing feeling in my head at first. Over time my muscles started to relax. When I felt like I was peaking, I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling.

As I stared at the ceiling, my muscles deeply relaxed and I felt almost like I was starting to lift off the floor from my chest. This effect was very brief, maybe 15 minutes before it got back to the general relaxation and buzzing.

I turned off the vape and carried on with watching TV. I was suddenly hungry, but it was around dinner time so take that effect with a grain of salt.

Later that night, I returned to the vape. I figured I could probably extract a little bit more out of it, so I stirred the bowl, got it back up to 425°F and cleared 3 more bags before going to bed.

I did not feel the lifting feeling from before, just the tingle and relaxation. It also seemed like I was more sensitive to high pitched sounds. I went to bed about 30 minutes after clearing the final bag and had one of the most detailed, vivid dreams I've had in a long time.

I dreamed I flew to Mars with a team of other people. Some died over the weeks we were there due to issues with oxygen generation. Eventually we reached our goal: we found an alien sentience who taught me that our solar system is simply a cell in a large, intelligent being that spans the universe.

Overall, the effects of the leaf are very mild. I will definitely try vaping it again right before bed to see if my dream was just a fluke or if it was related to the leaf. Even with the very mild effects, Damiana has a wonderful floral flavor when vaped that I will definitely be returning to.
