First and Second Experiences With Cyclazodone

On Friday at 17:13, I took 10 mg of cyclazodone (orally). Immediately after administration, resting heart rate was 80 BPM. 40 minutes in (17:53), my resting heart rate has decreased to 64 BPM. Looking back on the whole experience: I felt a certain feeling of calm, unchanged motivation, no stress, a decrease in appetite.

On Saturday at 21:05, I took 20 mg of cyclazodone (orally). For the first few hours, I felt no strong positive/negative effects, possibly a better ability to concentrate.

Shortly after administration, I go to a bar to watch a sporting event. I drank three beers, hadn't had anything to eat since lunch. I ended up talking to a guy there and more or less forgot that I had taken anything.

Approximately one hour after administration, around 22:00, I notice that I watch the game for longer consecutive periods of time (without taking out my phone, averting my gaze, etc). Possibly a decrease in appetite. Energy unchanged or decreased. Social behaviour increased.

At 00:36, I redose 27 mg of cyclazodone (orally). Shortly after administration, I go to a nightclub. It felt as though I had more energy and enthusiasm. Quite a subtle effect. Perhaps improved social behavior, but not entirely sufficient - alcohol etc was still necessary. (On second thought, this may also have been a result of the substance taking some time to 'hit'.) A person did observe that I seemed somewhat stressed at around 01:30; subjectively I felt the usual anxiety and unease when talking to them.

At around 01:00, I feel hungry, but as soon as I take a bite of food I feel immediately full. This was not pleasant. I was able to eat a few snacks throughout the evening and, presumably as the second dose began to take full effect, did not feel a troublesome hunger.

At 03:48, I return home. I feel pretty good. At this point, I notice that my heart rate is 132 BPM. I feel that it will not be possible for me to sleep.

At 04:55, I feel uncomfortable. I remark to a friend that I feel "a mix of tired and awake"; I feel tired but I cannot sleep, and I feel hungry but have no appetite. "Literally the worst of two worlds."

At around that time, I feel, alongside the discomfort, a very strong urge to talk to people - anyone who's up at this hour I start hitting up, and I feel quite interested in what they have to say, even if it's just banalities.

I keep talking to people for about an hour.

At 05:46, I take 1 mg of alprazolam (orally, chewed) to sleep.

At 06:11, my heart rate is 120 BPM.

At 06:17, my heart rate is 115 BPM.

At 06:28, I feel calm.

Shortly after 06:40, I fall asleep.

Shortly before 14:12, I wake up. The rest of the day I feel a bit tired, presumably due to poor quality sleep. I fall asleep a bit too early, and wreck my sleep schedule for a few days. Since alprazolam is not the focus of this trip report and there is a lot of information on this compound already, I include this information only for readers to be able to estimate the effects of cyclazodone.

Conclusions:
- I can tolerate up to 30 mg without serious side effects
- I need to remember to eat, preferably beforehand (rookie mistake, but important nevertheless)
- Unclear if it will help me with motivation
- DO NOT TAKE in the evenings
- It seems like the compound might have a very slow onset?
