Pharmacological baseline:

I've been taking 150 mg bupropion (Chinese "type II" extended release, with a plastic-like shell), 75 mg venlafaxine (again Chinese generic) SR capsules, and 300 mg lithium carbonate SR tablets (also Chinese generic) every morning.

Mindset:

Went to bed at 1AM the previous day. Woke up around noon hungry, but decided to keep fiddling with my Linux installation instead. Argued with girlfriend about getting food and not ignoring her for some GPS-based game. Mustered up enough energy to go out and get food at about 4PM.

Did not get food over the 20 minutes out, however. Broke into argument on the way and returned not quite wanting to live. Explained that I want to wake up in an ER and to break things to girlfriend. She was supportive, but not too helpful. I decided to slump up into an office chair.

Dosage:

180 mg DXM, 40 mg fluoxetine capsule as CYP2D6 inhibitor. I was more afraid of dissociation than serotonin syndrome.

Experience:

Spent the first hour not feeling much different, just crying, eating chips, and browsing on my phone.

Became basically non-suicidal at T+1h, so I packed up the trash. I was unable to balance when walking, so I sat back down and continued browsing on my phone.

At T+1h20m I was feeling a little happy and a drive to "do stuff". I was still dizzy, so I just moved onto the bed and cuddled.

Dizziness is gone by T+2h40m. Mood still mildly elevated.

Insights:

Apparently DXM with a 2D6 inhibitor works acutely on me. I will try to avoid using fluoxetine next time.
