I’ve always been captivated by the mysteries of consciousness and the universe. As a graphic designer in Boston, I often found myself lost in thoughts about existence, reality, and the nature of being. After years of reading about psychedelics and their potential for spiritual growth, I felt an undeniable pull to explore DMT, often referred to as the "spirit molecule." I had heard countless stories of profound experiences, many of which included encounters with divine entities, and I wanted to see if I could tap into that same cosmic wisdom.

On March 14, 2023, I drove to a secluded cabin in the woods of Vermont, a place I had rented for the weekend. I wanted to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for my journey. I spent the evening preparing, meditating, and setting the mood with ambient music and dim lighting. I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness as I contemplated the experience ahead, knowing that I was about to embark on a journey that could change my perception of reality forever.

Sitting cross-legged on a soft rug in the cabin's living room, surrounded by candles and crystals, I took a moment to ground myself. I closed my eyes and focused on my breath, allowing the world around me to fade away. After a brief meditation, I loaded the DMT into the vaporizer, feeling the weight of the moment. I took a deep breath, focused on my intention: "To understand the nature of reality and my connection to the divine". I prepared myself for what was to come. I took a deep hit of the vaporized DMT, holding it in for as long as I could. The taste was harsh, but I was determined to push through. I exhaled and took another hit, feeling the substance begin to take effect almost immediately. A wave of energy surged through me, and I felt my surroundings start to dissolve.

As the world around me began to fade, I was engulfed in a powerful wave of energy. Colors intensified, and the room transformed into a kaleidoscope of vibrant patterns. I closed my eyes, and suddenly, I was catapulted into a different dimension. In this new realm, I found myself in a vast, luminescent landscape filled with geometric shapes and swirling colors. Entities began to emerge from the light: beings made of pure energy, radiating love and wisdom. Among them, I felt the presence of a divine figure, a being that exuded an overwhelming sense of love and compassion. It felt like I was in the presence of God.

The divine figure communicated with me not through words, but through feelings and images. I was shown visions of the universe's interconnectedness, the birth and death of stars, and the intricate web of life on Earth. I understood that every being is a part of a greater whole, and that love is the fundamental force that binds everything together. The divine presence reassured me that I was never alone, that I was a cherished part of this cosmic tapestry.

As I delved deeper into this cosmic experience, I felt my consciousness expand beyond the confines of my body. I was no longer Alex; I was a part of the universe itself, embraced by the divine. I experienced the sensation of being everywhere and nowhere at once, a timeless existence that transcended the physical realm. The divine figure guided me through this vast expanse, revealing secrets of the cosmos that felt both ancient and new. I felt a profound sense of purpose and belonging, as if I had been given a glimpse into the mind of God.

In this state of divine communion, I began to perceive the universe as a grand symphony, each note resonating with the vibrations of existence. I saw the intricate dance of creation and destruction, the cycles of life and death, and the eternal flow of energy that connects all beings. The divine presence showed me that every thought, every action, and every emotion contributes to this cosmic melody. I felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility and love, as if I were being called to be a conscious participant in this divine orchestration.

As the experience began to fade, I felt myself being gently pulled back to my physical body.
