The Synergy of Kanna and Salvia

As an experienced user of kanna extracts, I recognized that kanna could be a powerful tool in creating a good set and setting for psychedelic experiences. I had been doing a lot of research into Salvia Divinorum and had recently ordered some 20x extract. I went over to a friend's house and three of us took 200 milligrams of kanna extract sublingually. We waited about 40 until we were all feeling very relaxed and euphoric from the Kanna.

After getting into the right headspace with the kanna, I placed a small amount of salvia extract into a mini bong, and took a few hits, trying to hold it in my lungs as long as possible. I rapidly started to feel the headchange, and the corners of the room started to warp and twist. Cartoon christmas elves appeared in the corners of the room and I started laughing hysterically. I felt intense adrenaline and was yelling out ‘Oh yeah!” like I was on some kind of a theme park ride. After a few minutes I stopped seeing strong visuals and more or less came back to reality.

Both of my friends took their turns with the Salvia and had positive experiences similar to mine. About 10 minutes after our initial trips, we decided to try smoking fully packed bowls of salvia for a much more powerful experience. When it was my turn, I had my friends play relaxing music with colors on the TV in the room and I got positioned on a bean bag. I took three big hits of the Salvia and quickly laid down on the bean bag. The music and colors from the TV seemed to take a physical form and enveloped me.

During my first trip I was still aware of where I was and what I was doing; this was not the case with my second trip. I was surrounded with vibrant colors and cartoonish characters. For a short period of time I was completely gone with no sense of who or what I was. It was strongly reminiscent of intravenous ketamine with full dissociation from myself. After about 3 minutes I was starting to come back to my senses, and was clear-headed in about 10 minutes. My two friends both had powerful dissociative experiences when it was their turn to smoke a full bowl. Both of them had great experiences that were similar in duration to my own.

We all agreed that the Kanna put us in a great headspace for the Salvia. We planned ahead and had a great set and setting, unlike many people who try Salvia. All of this led to us having an amazing experience with Salvia and I look forward to trying it again in the future.
