In january I started having severe sleeping issues. I went to see a GP after 2 weeks because I got so tired I couldn't work anymore and called in sick. Everyone I called and I was literally in panic at times, because I had no idea why I wouldn't sleep or what the problem was, let alone being given medication.

I got Temazepam 5 tablets, took 10mg first night, nothing, awake the whole night. I took 20mg the second night and though I noticed the effect I simply couldn't sleep. Then my GP pulled out the quetiapine, but of course, like a person who never prescribes it she gave me a recipe for an extended release version. Only noticed that at the pharmacy but I thought what the hell might as well take it and call again tomorrow. Not only did I AGAIN not sleep for the whole night, now I was also feeling totally agony, headache, confused thoughts, warm then cold, feeling sick, then feeling like I'm hungry.

Next day when I walked in I basically looked like a ghost, that's when she prescribed me Olanzapine 5mg at the advice of a psychiatrist.

Absolute worst medicine (the quetiapine) that I've taken apart from a contaminated batch and made me feel sick and projectile vomit all over the toilet before calling in sick to uni that day. But hey it's China, at least you can expect to run into issues if you decide to order medication externally.

9 months ahead, I'm off olanzapine and I still can not for the life of me sleep (I get like 2-3 hours a day before I go crazy and they put me back on meds).
