I started my day with breakfast and coffee. I made my coffee weaker than normal because I dont want the caffeine to increase the possibility of uncomfortable nervous energy. After that I went for a run, I also did this partly to enter the trip in a more restful state.

11:19 first effects noticed, my hands are starting to feel slightly numb. I feel a pleasant body load and a light headspace. I'm listening to tool - parabola and the music is starting to sound different than normal

12:48 After tripping over my salad for a minute I've realised how important the unspoken communication between my unconscious mind and myself is, and that without realising we communicate complex information which is not definable in words, through touch. In a world where we are constantly blasted by information it is only logical to think that feeling safe, coming home, and deeply resting is not something you can read in a book or watch a youtube tutorial over.

The tactile patterns which are observed by touch communicate our unconscious minds. Try to imagine how vastly complex our alphabet has to be if we tried to communicate all the different layers of touch and tactile sensation, a soft blanket, the warm body of your partner, etc. Touch might be definable in a spectrum like light is, but light and em waves are defined by only one variable which is frequency. Touch is a multidimensional array of all your sensory inputs all processed at once and eventually felt. Maybe that is what defines consciousness, not thinking but feeling

13:50 It is amazing how euphoric this compound can feel. I like how the waves of euphoria take shape when I'm listening to music. It doesn't feel forced like many phenylethylamines. With mdma it feels amazing and after a while I'm left wanting more because now it feels less amazing than before, it's like chasing the dragon. With 5-meo-mipt the dragon just visits from time to time. I do wonder about how it neurochemically behaves in comparison to addicting compounds like phenylethylamines. Tryptamines are generally considered not addictive. But if 5-meo-mipt is so euphoric it must be addictive.

16:03 I put "the queens gambit" on, the subject of seeing patterns where others don't was brought up, this reminds me of psychedelic experiences of course. I am grateful that I can observe these patterns while under the influence of psychedelics but also when sober. Also chamomile tea helped soothe the jitteriness that became present.

19:03 I have a slight headache from time to time. The effects have subsided almost completely, only a slight stimulation is left.

Overall I really liked this substance. I had almost no nausea, I did feel a lot of tension building up in my muscles at the end of the trip. There was lots of euphoria and lots of sexual energy, the substance is very libido enhancing for me.
