Suboxone Too Early From Fentanyl Causes Withdrawal

Had been using fentanyl for months, very pure powder and had a reliable source. It wasn't my first time deciding to quit. I had smoked it on foil every couple hours. My first time quitting sucked. I intentionally ran out and hit 5 days of terrible withdrawal, diarrhea, chills, sweats, but the worst part were the twitchy arms and legs. I felt like I couldn't keep my limbs still and it prevented me from sleeping. I finally went to the ER and got subs and then went to detox and after 3 more days I was good. Tapered off the subs over a month and was clean for 4 months. Then I started smoking again. This time after months of smoking, I decided to detox myself using subs I had left over.

I didn't wait long enough, made it 12 hours after smoking every last crumb and old piece of foil residue I could find over days of taper down but then after 12 hours of crawling out of my skin, I took 4 mg of subs. The withdrawal started rapidly.
after 12 hours of crawling out of my skin, I took 4 mg of subs. The withdrawal started rapidly.
So I took 8 mg more. This triggered precipitated withdrawal. It was all of the 8 days of symptoms from the last time condensed over 24 hours. I spiked a fever. Vomited. Shit every last bit of liquid from my body. I shivered with the worst chills. Was drenched in sweat. After 24 hours the vomiting stopped but I couldn't eat or drink and still keep stuff down. After 3 days, I'd lost 15 lbs of water weight. I called a concierge IV service to my home and told them I had the stomach flu. They gave me Zofran and toradol (like ibuprofen) and some vitamin shit. I did the same thing the next day. After 5 days, I started to drink fruit juice and eat chicken broth. Then I started tapering off the subs over two weeks.

I've been clean for 8 months now and the experience is enough for me to want to avoid fentanyl again. Lesson to the kids, wait at least 48 hours before you start subs. Bupe by itself is fine but if it has naloxone in it, you're screwed if you start it too early.
