I've been studying Sally D for quite some time now, and I finally decided I was ready to try it. So, I went over my friend Tom's house, I settled in, put in a Ravi Shankar CD, and packed up the bong with unenhanced leaf. Tom was to be my sitter. I took a few deep breaths to try and calm myself as much as I could, since I knew not what exactly to expect. I took one large bong hit, and as soon as it went into my lungs, my vision became slightly blurry, which was interesting. I held that hit in for quite some time, and exhaled. I took a follow-up hit, which wasn’t as large as the first and held it in for a shorter time period that the first.

After this, I decided it was time to lie down and close my eyes. Almost immediately, I had a strange visual of some pole or something rising out of the ground, and as this thing came out of the ground, it jutted up the dirt that was around it. This pole, or whatever it was, wasn't grow straight up, it kind of curved like a parabola. It's tough to explain, really. Anyway, then I got the feeling that there was a family of Native Americans who were going on a journey and it felt like I had to go with them. Particularly, there was an older woman who wanted me to accompany them on this journey. I was a bit apprehensive about going on this journey, so I sort of held myself back, even though I know that I should have went. After about 20 minutes, I decided that my experience was over, and I discussed what happened with Tom. I strongly believe that the music by Ravi Shankar influenced the experience that I had. I learned that in the future, I should definitely let go more, and just 'go with it.' I am sad that I missed out on the journey, but I am sure there will be more opportunities in the future. There is much more of Salvia-Space to be discovered and explored by me.
