I have used methamphetamine say, a dozen times. the first few times I had snorted or swallowed the stuff with water and noticed the onset within 1/2 an hour. eg. little warm rushes, increased energy, a general feeling of being more in control, increased alertness and a feeling of breathlessness.

My friend has always shot his dose, a method for which my fascination grew each time I saw him meticulously prepare & inject, followed by his immediate 'rush' he always breathes out heavily for the first few minutes and starts to sweat profusely, followed by lotsa talkin.

The first time I asked him to inject me with meth(1/5th gram), the (non) rush was a little disappointing and I felt not much more than a warm tingle and a lil more energised. I think my anticipation (and natural rush) prior to injecting for the first time bettered the effects of the drug.

Last time, we scored half a gram and were preparing our inner elbow veins for 50ml. the anticipation of the needle is incredible..an excitement; and I find my heart beats faster, breathing becomes more rapid (and this is pre drug state). I pump my hand, sit down and preferring not to watch, turn away and wait for the lil sting. Next thing he asks if I'm ok. I feel a warm rush: a need to suck in air; cloudy vision, tightness in the chest, an almost physical sensual numbness, energised!!!!
