I am a twenty six year old woman coming off of a very long addiction to meth. I mainlined the drug for almost two years. I used this drug every day and like any junkie would more than once day. When I would inject this drug, I would use anywhere from 10 dollars worth to 80 dollars worth.
It causes an immediate rush of heat to all of my pulse points; feet, chest, crotch and hands. I get an amazing euphoric rush to the head. It seems almost as if I cannot breathe. If I would have a very strong rush I would have to jump up and down sometimes to keep myself from passing out. My eyes cross for a little while, and then I am on to the tweek. I do any and every activity that I can possibly get my hands into, never really finishing anything.
At first it was intriguing. Never sleeping. Losing weight and keeping it off. Plenty of energy, And it seems I can't get drunk. But then seeps in paranoia. I was actually hospitalized for hallucinations and treated for schizophrenia with medicine for a long time. Because you see I had not told the truth about my drug use.
When I finally had no choice but to admit that I used meth it was because I had begun picking at my skin so badly that I had huge open lesions all over my entire body. My husband had this problem as well. We are no longer together, he is still getting high. I still have scars that I have to use a prescription cream on daily. I used to be a nude model. I will never be able to model again because of my scars. I thought I would never want to stop using. I still do want to use sometimes. But truth be better than death.
