I was given this drug to stabilize my mood, I was thought to have had a manic symptoms... They told me that I would be a bit drowsy once I had taken the Zyprexa but that was an extreme understatement. It took the pill and went to my physical therapy session and I felt very worn out while I was there. Once I got home I crashed on my couch and passed out around 8:30. I usually go to bed around 1:00 or 2:00. So my mother and sister tried to wake me up so I'd go to bed in my room, however I would not budge. They tried opening my eye lids but my eyes were rolled back. Finally they managed to wake me up and I walked up stairs and passed out. The next day I had no recollection of how I had reached my room. I remembered nothing about the trip from the couch on the first floor to my bed on the second floor. That day I was extremely tired all day long and worn out. I could barely keep my eyes open. I was not a fan of this drug at all so I stopped taking it after my first experience. I am not on another drug called Abilify and it side effects are much less severe.
