Growing Plants at Your Leisure
Wormwood & Cacti - T. pachanoi

BODY WEIGHT: 170 lb
I recently ordered a 12' rooted San Pedro Cactus and Wormwood seeds from an ethnobotanical company online. Aswell I purchased a 8' clay pot, water dish, cactus growing soil, Expert Gardener All Purpose Plant Food, and a growing lightbulb.

Water Preparing:
I mixed about 3/4 of a teaspoon of fertilizer in a gallon container of water and let it sit a day before use.

Cactus Planting:
I planted the cactus in the large part near the surface (about a half in to inch deep) and mixed what was left of my MiracleGro soil with a fresh bag of cactus soil.I planted it and have been watering it once every 2 to 3 days to get the roots stimulated for growth and than plan to water it weekly as I have been keeping a grow light on it for about 12 to 14 hours a day. It seems to be doing fine as of now.

Wormwood Planting:
I took a small container from home and filled it with MiracleGrow soil and planted about 5 seeds about 1/2 to 1/4 of an inch deep in the soil. The seeds are so small I put several in and figured it would not hurt anything. It has been watered daily for several days now and is now being watered every 3rd day or so with the grow light on the pot 12 to 14 hours a day as it sits near the cactus. It was about 7 days and than 5 seedlings sprouted from my cup.

All of the plants are doing well as of now and the fertilizer seems to really help them out. My Salvia Diviornum A plant can attest to that as it has grown alot faster with the fertilizer and the Wormwood has sprouted quicky.

Any growing tips would be great that I have overlooked but I noticed there is not alot of how people grow plants on here and though that this may bring some insight to people considering growing plants at thier leisure.
