I think I finally found out what 5-MeO-DMT is for.

WOW! Today I tried AMT for the first time. This is a chemical I missed out on before it was scheduled in the US, and I have only been able to read about until now. Hearing it described once as the 'Rolls Royce' of psychedelics (as well as a very nauseating and upredictable chem, on the down side), it was an easy decision for me to try some when it came my way.

I received it in pure powder form and weighed it as carefully as I could with my >CRAPPY< GemPro (I'm getting a new scale really fucking soon, people. I have no confidence in this one), I ingested about 45mg while sitting on the beach, doing some writing on my new PowerBook G4 (so sweet) and watching cute girls.

My reaction for the first 2-3 hours was, FUCK, this is more nausea than I like. I didn't puke, but I did burp some foul stuff for a while. A couple Tums helped a lot. At one point I burped and almost involutarily puked in front of a bunch of people, but didn't.

I definitely noticed a curious aphrodisiac effect others have described. I was extremely disinhibted and self-confident. I have felt this on LSD and other tryptamines as well. It must be dopamine action. At the same time, I was not exactly 'horny', but I think if I am already 'in the mood' or aroused, though, AMT can really make me take it, um, more seriously. I discovered myself involuntarily following these two cute girls around the beach because I couldn't stop looking at them. I knew I was stalking them but I didn't care. Fortunately they soon drove off and I headed home.

On the way home, how at maybe T+2 hours, the nausea slowly morphed into a pretty nice body buzz, centered in the stomach and diaphram definitely. The overwhelming feeling was 'smooth'. It felt like a very smooth experience, like drinking Guinness. Somewhat like 2C-E, it left my mind fairly clear even as it was certainly afffecting me powerfully, and I did not feel out of control riding my bike in traffic. In fact, my bike felt like a smoother, more natural ride than I can remember.

I got home, smoked one hit of cannabis to reduce the nausea, and started listening to some music. At about the 3 hour point, I decided a bump was in order. I have NEVER bumped psychedelics before. I had never even insufflated anything before this. This is more evidence of the disinhibition I think this drug caused me, and has caused in others as well.

But something was just pushing me to do a LITTLE bit more of this AMT, so I measured out 10mg and bumped it a little at a time. At first no burn, and then an increasing 'spicy' feeling. Nothing too bad, IMO. I have heard very negatives comments about the smell/taste of AMT, but the batch I had was very pure and did not smell that bad. I cleaned out the nose with water and applied some Cortaid to reduce the inflammation. The booster effects were nice, but not a big addition to the trip. I only read later that what I had was likely freebase and so not very efficient to snort. I will probably smoke it at some point to see what that's like.

Anyway, shortly after the AMT boost, I came on Bluelight and read something that made me want to do some 5-MeO-DMT. I think it was a combo report about 5mg 5-MeO-DMT combined with low doses of 5-MeO-DIPT and 5-MeO-AMT, or something. Anyway, after my recent awesome experience with 5-MeO-DMT, I decdied to do it. I measured out 5mg (it may have been closer to 8, that GemPro scale SUXXXXX), and smoked it in one beefy hit.

Instant universal orgasm lasting at least 10 minutes.

This was my second amazing 5-MeO-DMT experience this month. I think it is my new favorite chem, although in a COMPLETELY different way than LSD, which is probably my all-time fave of those I've tried (2C-I, 2C-T-21, 2C-E, DIPT, LSA, 5-MEO-DIPT, 4-HO/ACo-DIPT ... Is that it? I thought it was more.) 5-MeO-DMT is a quick intense 'high', whereas LSD is an interesting new lifestyle for 12-24 hours.

It's impossible to describe the effect of 5-MeO-DMT at this dose for me, now. I have done this dose before, sober, and was not very impressed. It was mostly body load and a rushing yet stoned feeling. But for some reason, either I have 'tuned in' to 5-MeO-DMT finally, or it synergized REALLY well with AMT, but I really did feel I was having a full body orgasm for at least 10 minutes. Everything brightened around me with the 'white light', and I writhed in rapturous pleasure. It was mystical, but honestly more sensual than spiritual. It just felt REALLY GOOD, like being hugged by angels.

I am still not sure how much I like AMT. I think, with some nausea precautions next time (light meal instead of empty stomach, maybe a little cannabis at the outset) I will try a higher dose and see if it becomes more psychedelic. I think this one may be like 2C-E for me, which has lots of value at standard dosages but which I have to try at least once at a 'maximum strength dose' just to see it's real nature. It was certainly nice at 45mg, and very active visually considering the fairly clear head space.

But the 5-MeO on top of it was THE bomb. If I could, I would recommend it. Alas, I can only reiterate: THE bomb.

EDIT: Later, when I started to feel 'cracked out' at around the 6 hour mark, 0.5mg of Xanax helped a lot to mellow the trip out, without totally ending it. Even so, the comedown was pretty uncomfortable and head-achy starting at around 8-9 hours. At T+11:00 my pupils were still HUGE. I took 10mg ambien and it definitely made me calmer, but still too keyed up to sleep.
