A close friend and I were sitting around one afternoon trying to decide what to do later. My friend mentioned the possiblity of trying nitrous, and being the curious type, I agreed to partake with him. Later, I drove to a local head shop to pick up the nitrous and a cracker, then drove back to my friends house.

After my friend and I went upstairs, we broke out the nitrous and balloons and loaded up a single cartridge. I then inhaled and exhaled the nitrous into the balloon several times, and was dissapointed that nothing was happening. Then, just as that thought was leaving my mind, my lips, ears, fingers and toes all became numb as an intense euphoria rushed over me. I layed back and let Kurt Cobain's poetic lyrics in the background flood over me. Although my auditory perception was greatly distorted, I had never heard a song sound so beautiful. Needless to say, my friend and I went through an entire 24 pack that night, and I am confident that we will do it again.
