Recreational Methadone
I decided to write this brief report because most of the methadone experiences in the vault seem to be negative, or do not describe a recreational experience.
A friend of mine has access to a surplus of 10 mg Methadone tablets, which he occasionally sells. The drug has great appeal for many reasons; Firstly, he charges a mere $1 or $2 for each pill. Second, the recreational dose for someone with even a moderate opiod tolerance ranges from 10mg-30mg. Third, the euphoria induced by the methadone is much more intense than that of other commonly abused and easily obtainable opiods (i.e. hydrocodone, oxycodone, etc.).
The first time I tried methadone, I took two 10mg tablets, and was pleasantly suprised. I had used heroin about 4 days prior, and am a regular opiate/opiod user.
I have never felt any 'hangover' or sickness the day after using methadone, contrary to what many reports in online experience vaults describe.
However, a great deal of naseua is noticed when even just slightly too much is consumed. This effect is completely avoided when Promethazine is consumed at the same time as the Methadone.
When increasing dosage due to tolerance, I do so very slightly. For example, I used 20mg about 3 times before noticing any tolerance. But when I increased to 30mg, I got very naseaus and threw up (but I still felt fantastic). I most likely should have increased only to 25mg.
