Most people put a bunch of verbiage in their reports, but I will sum mine up the best I can.

The dentist put the mask on my nose, the gas had a slightly sweet agreeable odor. After a few breaths, the world started to vibrate as if I was moving back and forth about 1/2 of an inch, relatively fast, 3 shakes a second. Around the borders of my vision, I could see psychedelic flashing orange-yellow blurry squares. My body was slightly numbed and I felt as if I was almost floating. I started to hear a constant reverberating (low pitch to high pitch) drone, synchronized with the shaking of my body. During inhalation, the overall pitch was higher, during exhalation it was lower. I closed my eyes and I felt as if I was watching the dentist's tools in my mouth, viewing from the back of my mouth (no actual visual hallucinations). My mental skills were only slightly impared, it took me about twice as long to recite numbers multiples in my head (3,6,9,12,etc). After 10 min, I could feel as if my mouth was spinning around clockwise, I could no longer sense which side of my mouth he was operating on. Once I opened my eyes, these last two phenomena disappeared. The nickname 'space gas' definetly describes it well. I was on the gas for about 1hr and it took me about 15 minutes to get back to the real world. It definetly made time pass faster. Inhaling nitrous out of a balloon (& switching with the atmosphere) and constantly refilling and switching withwould be a huge pain in the ass until I could achieve full effects (10min).
