This experience covers my first time using ambien. At the time, I knew absolutely nothing about its affects, but just took my friends word that it was fun. The location was at small cabin on the amazon river in peru. We had no electricity or running water, so night time was always a dark trippy experience in the jungle.
I took two 10mg ambien pills about 10 minutes before having dinner. About 15 minutes into the meal, I realized that I was feeling really drunk. I told my friend how I felt and he was feeling the same way, so we decided to walk back to the cabin. By this time it was dark out, and the night sounds of the jungle surrounded us.
We got about halfway to the cabin, which was a 2 minute walk, before I realized that the torches leading us to our room were moving. They started swaying back and forth, and whenever they moved, it seemed to knock me off balance. I fell to the ground in complete confusion. My other friend seemed to be doing better then me, he was able to walk.
Eventually my friend and some other people staying in the cabin came and helped me walk to the room. The entire time I had no idea what was going on, and I didnt know who the people were. When we got to the room, they dropped me on the bed, and my friend fell asleep.
Since leaving the dinner table, about 5 minutes had passed, but it felt like an eternity. This was when it got really strange. From the time they dropped me on my bed until about 10 minutes later, I experienced intense amnesia. I have absolutely no idea what happened or how I managed to do what I did, but somehow it happened. I remember hearing voices asking me if I needed some help, and I said yes. I have no memory of how it happened, but I was just walking through the jungle with no shirt on when I was found. He brought me to his room, and I lay on a hammock for a while, just chilling and enjoying the trippiness of the surrounding trees.
Overall ambien is very fun, and its great mixed with some nice weed.
