Allow me to preface this by stating that I don't really experiment with drugs that often. I smoke pot occasionally and have been known to take some hydrocodone now and then. However when I am bored, I lose my mind and just go crazy. One friday night I got bored and decided to alleviate my lack of activity by completely binging on Ambien. I had acquired about 10 pills of Ambien 10mg from an acquaintance at school a few days ago and decided to take around 3 at 11pm to start the night off. Before I know it, it's 2 hours later and I just swallowed 7 more pills of the stuff. I had just ingested 100mg of Ambien, something that I never believed I would ever do.

I took small doses of Ambien before, popping 2 or 3 pills and hour or two before going to sleep. It didn't much to me. I didn't experiance hallucinations like other people do nor did it 'fuck me up' like it does to so many people. It just made me feel slightly lightheaded and a tiny bit euphoric on some occasions. However the 100mg dose I just took completely knocked me out of my mind. I still dont remember it clearly. It was almost like was living a dream. At 1pm I call up my friend G and demand the we pick up some weed and smoke up. He is already getting ready to sleep and I start screaming at him on the phone that I will pay fully and he eventually succombs to my plea. I get dressed and decide to take a bottle of vodka along with me. I walk to his house taking swigs of the bottle as I am walking. Mind you, I live in a large metropolitan area. I go over to his house and make him call the dealer. I then grab the phone away from him while he is talking to him and ask the dealer for some 10mg Percocets. I had never tried Oxycodone nor have I ever wanted to. I set my limit on Hydrocodone, wary of the addiction that Oxycodone was known to bring however the Ambien me decided that it would be a good idea to get even more messed up that night. I end the conversation and leave G's house to go pick up about half a mile away.

I walk to the dealer's location and pick up. He comments that I look pretty fucked up and tells me that I owe him 36 bucks. I hand him a 50 and when he comments that he needs to go get change, I tell him to fuck it and just leave. Along the way home I decide that peeing in my pants would be a good idea because it would save me time, no need to stop and waste a good 2 minutes take a piss. Yes, this is the way your mind thinks while on Ambien. The entire time I am walking is an extremely wierd experiance. It was almost like I was watching a movie of myself walking. I was walking, but I wasn't feeling anything associated with walking. Not pressure on my feet. No wind in my face. I was feeling absolutely nothing.

I get back to G's house and immediately pop the percocet. I then lay down on one of his chairs while he begins to roll. I grab the bottle of Vodka I had brought and begin to take swigs once again. Then it gets really hazy. I smoke about 1 joint and then out of no where, I begin to throw up all over the place. I was projectile vommiting for almost 5 minutes straight. I said that I was sorry to G and then went home. I layed down on my bed and fell asleep instantly.

I awoke the next morning to the worst smell ever. I was still wearing the clothes I threw up in last night. I change clothes and then call G. He informs me that I threw up all over the place and he had to clean it all up. He also told me that while he was rolling the joints, I was just lying on his chair with my eyelids shaking like a guy going into shock. He thought that I overdosed and was scared I died. I have never taken Ambien ever again since that day.
