I have a friend who told me that for a period of time when he was abroad he had access to a supply of Klonopins and would snort them daily, up to 3mg at once, giving a Codeine-type buzz. The only bad side affect was he basically had no short-term memory when he was using them.
Recently I had returned to my parents house and found a prescription for Clonazepam 1mg that my mother had been prescribed for her anxiety disorder. So one afternoon I snorted 1.5mg worth of them and sat back to feel its effect. Basically for about 4 hours I felt heavy, euphoric, and just lazy. Nothing really mattered, and that was just fine with me.
Alas, my memory of that afternoon is quite foggy, as my short term memory was clearly affected.
And here is the most interesting part. That night, about 9 hours after original insuffulation and at least 3 hours since the effects had completely worn off, I went to a party with some friends and pregamed half a bottle of Jack before going in. Evidently, over the course of that night I hooked up with a long-time friend of mine, smoked some bud (I hadn't smoked up in 3 years!!), and basically puked my guts out 10 times. ...AND I DONT REMEMBER A SINGLE THING. All of this was just what my friends related to me later. I have to attribute this memory loss to the earlier Klonopin usage.
