It seemed almost ridiculous that I had tried so many things, weed, shrooms, DXM, nitrous, salvia, pain killers etc. before I even got my hands on some X. When I finally did however, I had my doubts. I figured it was a fake after studying the tiny green pill ("Green Scorpion") the night before.

It was all set, a few close friends were to come over the following morning and we would even ingest it in the same manner, by cutting it in half or quarters and swallowing it. I took it as soon as I got off the phone with my buddy who was due in 10 minutes to my house.

The onset came surprisingly quick, about 20 minutes. I felt extremely anxious at first just sitting at my computer and listening to some music. A girlfriend of mine who was also going to share the experience with us that day told me what I will definently need to have around for my day of rolling. Cigarettes, gum, water, and some good music. Man she was right, I dont know if it was because of my anxiety, well it must have been. But I smoked over a pack of cigarettes that day. I had a constant urge to smoke for some reason.

After the anxiety went down a bit this overwhelming euphoric feeling came over me. I know I had a huge grin on my face and my body felt as though it was being massaged by a million tiny fingers. I was running around my house, acting like a fool. Grinning and exclaiming, 'HOLY SHIT DOES THIS FEEL GOOD!' I had never been so happy in my life. I didnt know what to do with myself. Everything in the world just seemed perfect. We layed all over each other enjoying the warmth and closeness we were not ashamed to share as friends.

As my high came down something even more amazing happened that evening. The high lasted about 5-6 hours and as I came down my hands fell asleep and my muscles were spasming in my forearms. I continued to smoke cigarettes all night. My friend spent the night and we walked around my neighborhood and seemed to bond in a way that was so very special even as friends. We talked about government and religion and our new found philosophy of life. Conversation had never been so good. My thoughts just flowed into my head and out of my mouth like some kind of poetic cycle.

It was truly a learning experience and one that I will cherish forever. Everyone should deserve this chance at self exploration and gratification at least once in their life. Sadly it can only happen once with Ecstasy. For I've been told and now have found out for myself that I will never get that happy and good of a feeling from ecstasy again from one little pill.
