I hit some good Salvia last night; I've tried it before but been generally unsuccessful at getting very high. I didn't much like the experience before but this time it was awful.

My friend M was driving me to a party, and on the way we were going to try some salvia my friend gave me. So I put a tiny nug of weed in the bottom of the bowl so that the Salvia wouldn't get sucked through. I took a long, deep hit and held it in.

I remember taking the hit and then nothing much, but later noticing that things appeared to be closing in, as if the upper and lower halves of my vision were pages of a book that was shutting, and nearly shut. At this point I started freaking out and told M that we had to get away from it or something similar, and even at one point attempted to grab the wheel. Thankfully we were on small roads and I was too inebriated to willfully move the wheel, and he yelled at me that I was high. Then I finally got collected to a point, things were still very confusing though I was aware of my surroundings.

I think what might have happened was that I didn't quite take enough to really hallucinate but felt the sensation of being pulled out of wordly perception. I hated this trip and hope I don't get another like it. I know now, at least, that hallucinogens are not to be used by myself in a vehicle, as the passing landscapes probably had to do with the fear and the danger of pulling us off of the road was present. We didn't think of the danger, but next time I'll know better.
