I recently recieved a Quarter Pound of dried amanita muscaria caps by mail order from an online vendor. Being a high school student, I thought it might be an interesting experience to eat the caps during the school day. I was very very wrong. During my second period study hall I munched down about 10gs of the caps. They were dry and sort of reminded of edible mushrooms like portabella or shitake. They didn't taste so bad until they hit my stomache and caused major nausea. The burps tasted alot worse then when the stuff went in. Just thinking off it makes me want to vomit. Yuck.

So anyway about an hour and a half later I realized that I could only see clearly up to about 1 foot in front of me and anything beyond was just a blurry group of pixels. I had to put my face right into the pages of my worksheets to read them. Also at about this point my body began to feel like I was on painkillers, but this is were the pleasant effects ended and the sweating started. I was sweating buckets by this point and had to put on two shirts and a sweathshirt to make sure no one noticed, But they did anyway because of my hair being drenched. The teacher put on a movie and I couldn't see what was happening on the screen and by this point I was feeling very uncomfortable. I began to feel like I had the flu because I was freezing cold but sweating. I got to leave early from school pretending I had the flu.

Despite all the horrible body affects I have to admit that the ride home was amazing. Everything bright and far away turned into red circles with crystals in them and the actual object didn't actually appear until I was extremely close to it. This made the falling leaves and reflected sunlight look like a beautiful snowfall of bright color. I enjoyed the ride but when I got home my mom had to leave right away to go back to work. She gave me the key and said be careful in there alone while your sick. By this point everything was so blurry I could barely see my fingers right in front of my face. I stumbled with the key and the lock for about 2 minutes and finally got in, stripped naked, and got into the shower were I vomited huge chunks of shroom flesh. This vomit burned my throat and stung my nose and there was ALOT of it. The shower seemed to stop the sweating and a change of clothes felt good.

I crawled into bed and fell asleep almost instantly. I had an extremely lucid dream in which I was playing this game in some sort of post apocolyptic world and I had the choices of three tunnels. The tunnel I chose lead me into a sewer pipe filled with rats wearing tap hats and coats and playing slot machines with pigs for wives. They dragged me onto there table and tried to eat me and I screamed out YOU DIRTY FUCKING FACIST ANIMALS and then I woke up. Looking back it felt like a delirious fever dream which is how I would sum up the whole experience. Delirious, feverish and flu-like. Nearly two hours after I woke up my vision began to turn back to normal but my body still felt exhausted beyond belief. Overall I did not enjoy this experience because of all the negative sickly effects. It was liking being blind and having Pnuemonia.
