I was at a halloween party with 2 of my immediate friends and I guzzled down an 'eyed out' dose of 15mg of 2-CE with a sip of beer. This party was bumping 80's dance/new wave hits all night. My friend spencer took a dose of 15mg also that night and was with me, along for the ride. For the beginning I was on the couch watching people dance and started to feel the immediate effects of the emotional aspect of the drug. I saw the human connection between the drunk people dancing. It seemed very healthy to me and I almost wished I was getting drunk that night instead of taking a psychedelic.

I went outside periodically to watch the cars go by (a very busy street), and to watch the moon and the various lights in the city. eventually a couple who were at the party started to fight. The music had stopped and to me, the tripping voyeur in the corner, this scene almost reminded me of a married couple with a kid, who were fighting in a custody battle. I felt the deep emotional grief of both the people because the 2-CE brings out the emotional understanding between people.

We then left for Dennys to eat. I found this all to be dream-like as everything reminded me of a dream. In previous dreams I sometimes was able to be conscious and make the dream controllable; and at this point this is what it felt like. I was now controlling a dream. The craziest part of the dream though was watching my friend who was also on the 2-CE, Drive 15 miles home. Watching the cars go by was a trip and I couldn't believe we were still alive. We stayed up all night and when the tripping wore off the dream-like awareness did not. I had to go to work the next day and this was still dream like. This whole experience reminded me of the movie waking life.
