Trying Salvia

I had heard of salvia and it sounded interesting to me. I've done pot before and wanted to try something new. I bought some dry leaves that were pretty inexpensive. In retrospect, I found it better to spend the extra money and buying extract. I stuffed one leaf in for each bowl and smoked it. I had to really light the stuff to the point where the whole thing is cherry. I only got a half dozen hits maybe off each bowl. The smoke is harsh and tastes like fish, so it was a good idea to have water or use a water bong (although I tried a water bong another time and that didn't work much better).

After a couple bowls I started feeling lightheaded, like when I first start smoking pot. After I smoked 6, I looked around the room. Everything was kind of melted looking. The TV was on and the colors were very bright and everything seemed distorted. Walking was hard because it was hard to keep my balance and I felt really heavy like I was sinking in the ground. I remember laughing a lot and everything seemed really funny. I went to the bathroom to throw out the ash and in the distance down the dark hall I could hear voices which kind of sketched me out, because the house was empty. I went back into the room and made myself comfortable on the couch with a blanket. When I turned off the lights and TV, I stared out of the window. It looked like I was underwater looking out into the ocean through the window. Probably 20 minutes after I started to feel it the stuff started to wear off. A few days later when I was driving I got a flashback.
