After much research online about LSA I was led to believe that Rivea Corymbosa Seeds might be the best choice for ingestion due to their higher ratio of LSA per seed compared to HBWR or morning glory. I myself am not prone to nausea however it seems sensible to choose the seed with the least chance of discomfort. I was not able to find a good reference for the number of seeds to be taken for this particular plant (ranged from 5 - 100 seeds) so this was to be an experiment to see what effects 10 seeds would induce. The seeds were purchased online.
The 10 seeds were crushed and placed in a small bowl. 1/4 cup of purified water was added and the solution was stirred for 5 minutes then let to sit in a dark cool place for 12 hours. I have read that one reason that water should be added is that the water can hydrolyze some of the other alkoloids into LSA. I tried to avoid heat and light as much as possible as I read that either can destroy the active compounds.
(0:00) The seed soup (water and seed mush) was then swished about in my mouth and the seed mush chewed for 5 minutes and then swallowed.
(+0:10) Possible first contact. Becoming distracted by small things easily. Slip on earphones and Beatles music begins. Holding the mixture in my mouth must have sped up absorbtion into bloodstream.
(+0:15) Several medium-strength rushes of body tingling... Especially in the feet and lower legs. Concentration seems to lock on odd things briefly.
(+0:30) Mirror indicates pupils still baseline. During a previous 10 seed HBWR adventure pupils were gigantic. Perception is slightly different though. Almost not noticable but also unmistakable. Similar to mild cannabis high but no `dumbed down` sensation.
(+1:00) Effects are tapering off or at least not increasing. I have a slight head cold and that is fighting for control of my senses.
(+2:00) Feel like normal again. Hungry so it's time to eat.
Overall I'd say that 10 seeds was mostly likely a threshold dose and produced zero nausea. If I was to ingest the seeds again I would up the dose to 30 seeds and test again, although I suspect that 60 seeds would be closer to the experience I would most enjoy.
