The first time I took Dramamine wasn't all that special. I had a hard time communicating with my friend who was also on it and couldn't understand the concept of walking. It seemed too hard. The only hallucination that I can remember is I thought my friend was holding a note in her hand and I asked if I could read it... I also had trouble remembering the name of the drug, asking every two minutes, 'What's this called again?'
My third time tripping off Dramamine I was completely lost. I offered a friend who was sober my corn dog, because I 'wasn't hungry anymore'. Little did I know I hadn't been eating a corn dog at all.
Trips off Dramamine are random and unexpected. I've had bats attack me from all corners of my room causing me to be deathly afraid of them now. One time I was tripping off Dramamine and for no reason at all grabbed the top of my head and just started screaming. My friend then pulled me out of it yelling 'WHAT? WHAT?' I have no idea what that trip was about. The only thing I remember was thinking my head was full of lava.
As much fun as some of these trips are, being on Dramamine for 5-6 hours can get annoying. When I'm tripping I can't remember anything longer than a second it seems. The most common words you use when on Dramamine I have to say are 'Ummm ...uhh I forget.'
I was in my friend's kitchen trying to get some ice cream and I forgot what I was getting. I opened the freezer and saw that there wasn't any ice cream in that one so I closed it. Then I was standing in the kitchen like uhhh what was I getting so I went over to the cupboards and opened them looking around. After not remembering or finding anything I looked in my hand and saw that I was holding a bowl and spoon. Then I quickly went to the other freezer where the ice cream was before I forgot again.
Following up on that .. Dramamine for some reason makes me forget I am holding on to things. Another time I was tripping in the same kitchen I was holding a glass of kool-aid and forgot I was holding it because it dropped and splattered everywhere! I didn't even know what happened.
Smoking on Dramamine is another new experience. A cigarette looks immensely long and foreign looking. Dramamine causes intense muscle spasms and getting a smoke up to your mouth is the hardest thing to accomplish. Other than that you just sit, trip and shake.
To me this is a pretty intense drug. It seems to give me a hangover for at least 24 hours. I get extremely depressed and continue to have mild trips. I feel like I've fried my brain off the drug but continue to think about when's the next time I can pop some. I've experienced a hangover off Dramamine a week long after popping 18 in one day and 12 the next. When on Dramamine and the hangover you looked cracked out. Pupils huge, a look of terror on my face, I walk around lost as if I don't know where, who, what I am. To wrap this up I continue to pop the pills and listen to the song. The lyric that gets to me the most from Dramamine by Modest Mouse is .. 'It killed the better part of me.'
