Preparing Blue Lotus
I've been experimenting with a lot of random naturals lately and basically most of them are crap. Damiana, Wild Lettuce, Dream Herb, et cetera...maybe my chemistry is just messed up though but they don't work. Anyhow on to the blue lotus...
I smoked a couple of bowls of it, and had a cup of tea with 5g of blue lotus...it gave me the most mild opium like feeling. Not worth noting at all though, it was shite. So I just forgot about the rest of the blue lotus.
Maybe a week later I decided to give the Egyptian technique a try, I bought a new bottle of wine and uncorked it and added 2 over flowing spoonfulls of the dried lotus petals to the wine. Re corked it and left it in the fridge for 2 and a half days (on its side so the wine would make the cork swell and seal the bottle better). Anyhow I had maybe 8-10oz of the resulting wine that I strained through a coffee filter.
The feeling is like light opium or something. I have complete control but everything is a bit smoother and if I move my head fast it makes me silly and dizzy or something. I enjoy it because it doesn't impare me in the sense I'm out of control but I surely feel pretty awesome. =)
