I got my hands on some buprenorphine in the form of an 8mg suboxone. I cut it into 16 pieces and ingested one sublingually. About 2 hours later, I made my way to a party with a few friends where the liquor was free flowing. After a night of playing cranium and heavy drinking... I'd guess the equivalent of 10-12 shots, I walked back to my apartment with my girlfriend. Ended up getting hot and sweaty (and probably dehydrated) from sex.
Here is where the night and the next day take a turn for the worse.
Post sex, I feel nauseous, so I hobble to the bathroom and proceed to puke up what I think is all the alcohol I imbibed that night for about 20 minutes. After wobbling into the shower for a few seconds, I was able to dry myself off and get into bed.
Next morning I woke up naturally and had to go to work. For some reason, for the two hours after I awoke, I felt fine. At work (cashier among other things), I drank about a half a liter of gatorade and ate a rice bowl. Two hours after my wakeup point (an hour after I was at work), I started to feel tired dizzy and a bit nauseous. I stayed at work for about 5 hours while feeling like this.
The worst part wasnt the tiredness or dizziness. It was the nausea that got to me.
It was the nausea that got to me.
Usually I can handle a bit of nausea, but this time, I assume from the buprenorphine, my breathing was severely depressed. DO NOT DRINK AND TAKE BUPRENORPHINE. I tried getting to the bathroom to puke a few times but just couldnt bring myself to do it, even after sticking my finger down my throat a few times. Standing around talking to customers was complete hell. I continuously felt like I couldnt breathe and constantly put my hand up to my chest to feel my heart. I got off work early, went home and was finally able to vomit a combination of gatorade and acidy mush. I ended up going straight to sleep on my bed for 2 hours and upon waking up I was still a little nauseous. Later that night, the nausea and depression of breathing went away.
Bup is fun on its own, and alcohol is fun on its own. When mixed, the breathing depression is enough to be scary.
