The River Of Lethe is defined by dictionary.com as the following:
'Lethe Greek: Mythology. The river of forgetfulness, one of the five rivers in Hades.' which pretty much sums up my experience with Halcion. I have been prescribed 60 .25mg Generic Halcion/triazolam pills per month for treatment of insomnia as a result of Restoril and trazodone not being therapeutic for me and Ambien being far beyond what I can afford. My family and I have been severely effected by insomnia and night terrors our entire lives looking for a cure.
I don't have much to write about this substance but the lack of experience reports inspired me to share a bit. If you are looking for a recreational benzo I urge you to stray from this powerful drug, not to say that other benzos are not as powerful or dangerous, but this is one that should be used properly and not abused. I consume .50mg each night for sleep which usually doesn't knock me out , leading me to taking more than recommended (which I do not condone). I wake up the next morning still in a complete daze of oblivion and it is not until the evening when my wife describes my seemingly conscious actions to me that I realize that I have no recollection whatsoever of the events that occurred while under the influence of this pharmaceutical. The amnesia it inspires it extremely powerful and highly effective.
I'm tempted to begin to describe my experiences with ambien, restoril, trazodone, diphenhydramine and other sleep aids at this time but it has been years since i've written an experience report but I will end it here... Knowing that I will most likely not remember this in the morning. My suggestion to those suffering from insomnia is to try as many ALTERNATIVES to powerful pharmaceutical drugs that will have a drastic effect on your waking state, as possible before caving into what could possibly lead into a confusing addictive daze.
