I've been using perc's for around three years now and in the very recent past my doctor switched me over to oxycontin.

I quickly found out that to get that buzz I needed to crush/chew or snort the pill. I tried the snorting, didn't get the rush I have read about here, so I just crush or chew them.

I have noticed that it takes around 15-20 minutes to start feeling that 'aah'! feeling. It isn't a long wait, I know that, however it is how long the high lasts that has me wondering, and disappointed. At one time the feeling used to last at least four to five good hours. Now, I am lucky if it lasts two and a half hours. The problem here is when I take some more at that time, I rarely get much of a buzz.
