A friend of a friend of mine was getting fucked up with us one night, when he asks if I had tried methadone. I've tried lots of opiates,just about all of them except hydromorphone or fentanyl [or all of those analogs]. Anyway, the next morning he brings me a quarter of a 'wafer', which are the large 40 mg peach colored squarish pills that are put in water and stirred, then drank...

-The shit comes on really fast, id say in about 10 minutes after drinking the glass of deliciously flavored methadone.
By the 30 minute point, I'm really fucked up, feeling a nice opiate buzz, but different from any other opiate high I've experienced.. [that I can remember]. Its a nice high, I remember feeling really happy the whole time I was delivering pizza flyers. Normally I wouldn't be enjoying my walk down the neighborhoods at all, but I have to say, I had a pretty damn good time that day.

-Methadone lasts a long time, I remember not feeling quite normal until I've woken up from a full night's rest most of the time.

-Makes me more sleepy than alot of the opiates of tried.

These are the memories I have from my methadone excperience[s], I never had a problem with it, as I have with other opiates [oxycodone and heroin]. Hope this helps.
