[Erowid Note:
Our understanding of the literature is that there is no such thing as safe recreational use of volatile solvents, aerosols and other street inhalants : their psychoactive effects are inseparable from nerve and organ damage. We have chosen to include these reports to help document the real world use of inhalants, but their inclusion is not intended to imply that they are anything but dangerous.]
well, after band practice we busted out some duster for the hell of it. We were hitting it up pretty hard, so when it was getting to the last of it, I took 4 or five huge breaths. Next thing I wake up numb lipped and run to the bathroom and vomit. I then had to lay down for 45 minutes in order to walk. My lips are still kind of numb 2 hrs later.
This stuff is like nitrous on steroids. My friend got addicted to it back in the day, and crashed his car into a wall after blacking out. It's safe to say I won't dance with this again, but I was hard up for a lift, having been arrested for herbs recently and being put on bi-weekly drug testing. I got high as hell, end of story. My brain seems to be working like normal again, but my lips are pissing me off.
