Bought a powdered concoction at the health food store for a $1.50. I just mixed it with 6 oz's of cold water and stirred until dissolved ( which took awhile ). I drank it down in 2 big gulps. It did taste bad, but not as bad as I feared from reading testimonials. I’ve had worse. My tongue and mouth did go slightly numb, but this went away quickly as I chased the Kava with more cold water. It gave me a sense of feeling somewhere between stoned and slightly drunk. Its somewhat subtle. I’d try it again, this time trying some of the recipes and taking more to see what happens.
