Last night, after a long day's work, I came home and decided to drink some beer to help me wind down for the evening. By the 4th beer I decided I would like to see how well ketamine synergizes with alcohol, so I did a 30mg line, which turned out to be lovely - I felt way more drunk than I should have after 4 beers, only I could still think clearly and my coordination was barely impaired at all. So, under the influence of alcohol and k, I decided that I should be tripping too, and did a 27mg rail of 2c-b.
I became disoriented and confused very quickly, but within a few minutes I mostly regained my senses. I started watching comedy central - the daily show turned out to be a very very good episode (with guest pat buchanon), and continued to watch comedy central for quite some time afterwards. I don't remember a lot of the details of the trip (probably from the alcohol/ketamine) but I do know that I had an enjoyable time getting down with the comedy and chatting with friends on irc.
Fast forward about 4 hours. I was feeling close to baseline, a pleasant +. I was still watching comedy central but something stupid came on so I figured I would wind down my night with some porn and a few hits of cannabis. About 15 minutes into the porn and a few minutes after the pot I noticed I was getting quite tired, but I was still looking at the porn so I put it out of my mind. A couple more minutes and a lot more tired later, I started to notice that I wasn't actually tired - in fact, I was blacking out. As I started to lose my vision I panicked and ran to the bathroom to drink some water as I figured maybe I was dehydrated. The water helped a little bit so I went to pee as I hadn't done so in a while....
The first thing I remember after regaining consciousness was laying on the floor next to the toilet, extremely dazed and struggling to get back on my feet. As I slowly got myself reoriented with my surroundings, I looked down by the toilet and saw splotches of red liquid of the floor. I was too dazed to realize what it was, that is until I looked down at my chest and saw the same red liquid dripping down it. A few seconds later I realized that I was bleeding profusely from the nostril I had snorted the 2c-b in. I panicked again and ran to the kitchen to get some paper towels to help stop the bleeding and to clean up a bit, but after trying unsuccessfully to tear paper towels off the roll, I found myself regaining consciousness on my kitchen floor in a pool of blood. I also noticed that now one of my toes really hurt - turns out in my confusion I apparently jammed it really hard. I may have sprained it, I'm not sure. Anyway, I managed to keep myself conscious just long enough for me to plug my nose and lay down for several minutes. Once I felt somewhat normal again I took a long shower and went to sleep.
I'm under the impression that a blood vessel somewhere in my nasal passages burst. I have never in my life lost so much blood through my nose without having received a direct physical injury to it (and my nose doesn't hurt so I'm ruling that out). Blowing my nose frequently throughout the day today, I was still clearing blood out of my sinuses 12 hours later. And I don't even get nosebleeds, usually 2 or 3 per year. I'm now convinced that the 2c-b burn isn't a psychosomatic effect - the compound actually damages the linings of your nasal passages.
This is my first trip report ever, and I'm pretty experienced with psychedelics. Peace, and be safe.
