'Ok.. Ok.. OK' I thought, 'Nothing that I can buy in a headshop can really make me lose all sense of realty. At best it might make me lightheaded or some lame placebo effect.' So a friend and I purchase a bag of 60X salvia precede to take it to his grandparent house. My friend, the more daring of us two, takes the first hit. His eyes glaze over and seemingly uncontrollable laughter falls out of his mouth along with some slobber. The natural skeptic that I am thinks that he's just pulling my leg. I take my hit and this intense vibrating sensation rushes over me in the first 1 minute accompanied by laughter. The laughter was short lived because I was soon shot deep down a tunnel of another realty. Suddenly my friends grandparent turn into gate keepers of the 'pseudo true' realty. I thought that this was my existence...blaring CNN total distortion of depth and sensibility. After experiencing this I run outside in the humid 45 deg weather and am greeted with the familiar taste of reality.
