I recently (july 2007) switched to Citalopram from lexapro due to insurance costs. I take Citalopram for PTSD and GAD, I have to say it works. I no longer have the combat re-runs runnings thru my head. I have drank and gotten sloppy drunk with no ill effects. The anti anxiety part could be better and of course I take a higher mg but for me personally I would rather find an herbal alternative to Citalopram. Maybe its just me back the idea of taking pills for the rest of my life is something I would rather not do.
