I was perscribed Dilaudid for severe bouts of pain and was amazed at the level of pain relief that it provided. I have a fairly high tolerance to narcotic pain relievers as I also take OxyContin. However, I have never been so afriad that I would stop breathing than when I was taking Dilaudid. It is not a 'fun' medication to play with I can see how it would be far to easy to overdose even in an experience user. So be safe and think twice...
