DOSE:
5 tablets oral Pharms - Zolpidem (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 243 lb
The night I decided to trip out on some Ambien was after I heard a few stories from friends about how it was a totally awesome trip. I knew my parents had some kind of sleeping pills so I hit the pill cabinet. There I found my dad's Ambien and decided it was alright to take like 5 without him noticing.

So I took the pills normally, even though I prefer to parachute pills (for those who don't know what parachuting is, it's when one crush/cut pills as if one were going to snort them, but one wraps them in toilet paper so they get absorbed faster and stay in one longer than snorting them). Since Ambien trips usually compare more to dreaming while being awake, I don't really remember much so I don't know exactly how long it took for me to start tripping, but what I do know is that I started out in my brother's room using his computer and ended up back in mine.

What must have been a while into my trip, I hit my peak (I think). The only real reason why I remember the following event (which is the only part of the trip I remember) is because my friend called me and I talked to him about what was happening, and I also talked to another friend over AOL instant messenger. The only thing I remember is seeing my blankets in a pile on my bed and then instantly thinking they were a huge mountain. As I climbed mount blankets, my friend called me and asked what I was doing. I don't remember the exact conversation, but I do know I said that I couldn't talk because I was busy climbing a mountain.

Whatever happened from that point on, I don't recall. The next thing I remembered was waking up and having to leave for school. I went outside thinking that having the Ambien in me for about 7 hours was good enough and that I was good to go. I felt tired but not unusually tired since I get about 4-6 hours of sleep at night on average. So I got into my car, and started off towards school. My school is only about 5 or so minutes from my house, but that happened to be enough distance to fuck me over. Apparently I fell asleep while driving, ran off the road (I realized what was going on at this point), hit a concrete block (the kind where there's a pipe under the road for a little creek that isn't big enough for a real bridge), flipped a few times, and eventually came to a stop. I kinda figured out what was going on and walked out of my car through the broken out window in the back. I felt pain at this point, but was still in shock so I walked up the embankment where a woman was waiting and asked if I was alright. I told her I thought my ankle and collar bone were broken because at that point my chest hurt like shit and I couldn't walk anymore. Someone called an ambulance and I went to the hospital to find out that my seatbelt had fractured my sternum (the bone between the ribs), my ankle was sprained, my knee was all cut up from my dash, and my finger was cut up too.
