At about 11:00 P.M. on a school night, I sneak into my grandfather's room to get two of the 10 mg Ambien pills out of his medicine cabinet. I then make my way out of his room, eat some grub, then take the pill at about 11:30 P.M.

I sit on the couch and try to pass some time by watch television. After about fifteen minutes or so, the effects start to kick in. I decide now is the time to bring out my iPod, markers, and paper to listen to some nice tunes and draw while on the substance. I turn on a nice, calming song by Panda Bear on repeat, turn off the T.V., then begin to draw. I was mainly just scribbling for maybe twenty minutes or so, then suddenly, the lines of the black marker turned rainbow and started moving in waves lightly. Not very vivid colors, but it was definitely rainbow. I then decide to get up and walk around, to see how it feels. I feel as if I'm not walking, but just floating. Like I was floating three feet above the ground around my living room. I sit back down, pick up the marker, then I move it very quickly across the paper, but as I was moving it across on one part of the paper, it would show up on other parts of the paper and cover the whole paper, as if someone was coloring ahead of what I was coloring. I waste six sheets of paper doing this, as it was very intertaining and interesting.

The effects were too mild for my liking on just one 10 mg pill, so next time I will take a couple more.
