It has been a good amount of time since my trip to date but I will try to provide everything as accurately as I remember from the magical trip. I did use the internet for dosing when I did it but after my parents searched my instant message logs which were unknowingly turned on by them I was caught the next day, with the result of not getting this experience posted.

I learned about nutmeg on the internet as I was searching for a legal drug as I was a virgin in drugs. I read as much as possible to make sure I didn’t go into psychosis as stated on Wikipedia. It was a Friday night and I needed to relax from the stresses of school. I took the nutmeg around four in the afternoon. This consisted of a few attempts as nutmeg is absolutely vile to get down. After trying to down it dry with no luck I mixed it with grapefruit juice to try and mask the flavor. The worst part was the texture; it felt like I was eating/drinking sawdust, which I guess I was in reality. After getting the nasty concoction down I experimented with some orange extract from the spice rack. Just a few small tastes as it were around 80% alcohol by volume, and the resulting burn was quite unexpected. I believe around six or seven hours passed feeling nothing.

After everyone had gone to bed I set up in my room waiting for something and then it hit me. I realized I was laughing uncontrollably. The thought of laughing uncontrollably probably made me laugh more. I also started to notice that I had become increasingly nervous and had the feeling of almost like someone was watching me. I decided that I should write down my experiences on some sticky notes in case I couldn’t remember the next day. I would estimate around three to five minutes passed before the next effect kicked in. At the time I was very into death metal, with my favorite group being Children of Bodom, and my favorite song being Needled 24/7. It was the strangest thing I had ever experienced; my walls began playing Needled 24/7. I thought to myself I have to do this more often as I wrote down my experiences on the sticky notes.

I think about half way through the song is when the trip turned from good to bad. I knew from my research that bad trips on nutmeg were frequent. I started having another audio hallucination which strangely seemed to make the music from the walls fade away. I heard a little girl start to converse with me, guessing from the voice I would say around ten years old. I had never heard the voice before which combined with the fact that I was already in a nervous state and that I couldn’t see her freaked the hell out of me. I felt sick in the way you do when you are extremely nervous and got in my bed which made the girl stop talking. I decided it would be best to just try to go to sleep so I wouldn’t have anymore hallucinations of the little girl; but sleep was not going to come without a fight.

I already knew that nutmeg often gave users extreme dry mouth so I had a tall glass of water by my bed and I have never been so grateful in my life. After maybe twenty minutes of lying in bed with my legs crossed and my mouth very dry I felt the right leg which was on top of the left melt into the bottom leg. It felt as if the leg had just phased into the other and that they were stuck like that. I also noted a warm sensation emanating from where the legs intersected. The rest of the night was uneventful and I quickly fell asleep with my body feeling slightly heavy and very tired. I would estimate it at around one or two in the morning as the time I went to bed.
