Drinking The Liquid Hell
DXM
Citation:   JackBox. "Drinking The Liquid Hell: An Experience with DXM (exp71612)". Erowid.org. Jan 23, 2018. erowid.org/exp/71612

DOSE:
354 mg oral DXM (liquid)
BODY WEIGHT: 185 lb
Having read many experiences involving DXM, I decided to give it a try. I went to my local store and bought a bottle of Vicks 44. The next day, I woke around 7:00am and started drinking the hellish goo around 7:30. Due to the incredible thickness and cherry menthol flavor, it took me the better part of a half hour to get that stuff down. Here's a time line of the experience:

8:30- Substance in my stomach, feeling nasty from downing a whole bottle of thick syrup.

9:30 - Gravity is feeling very weird. My vision seems off. I have to pee, so I make the trip to the bathroom. This is very fun, although it makes me nauseous. I feel very light, although heavy at the same time. I get back in bed.

10:00 - I play some death metal. The double bass pedal sends waves of pleasure throughout my body. The music itself seems richer and more full.

10:30 - Halo seems like it would be a very good idea. I venture wobbly out to the living room and decide it would be best to descend into my basement sitting. I do so and start playing some halo. This is VERY difficult due to my double vision.

11:00 or so - I think I fell asleep, which is disappointing. I wake up at 1:00 with some double vision and some gravity distortion, but nothing else.

Overall the experience was very fun, although I wish I would have waited a little longer and maybe tried some meditating.
