First time salvia experience, mellow setting, sitting in bed, sitter in attendance. Took 2 hits of weed because I thought it might reduce unpleasant effects.

Took small hit of salvia 10X (really about half a small pipebowlful). 20 seconds - closed eyes - BLAM! In a place very far away, rotating forward with feet on an axis, body time-stuttering like cards falling on a flipping Rolodex, each body segment a flat cartoon alligator with cartoon teeth, half-red and half-blue, rotating down into the ground, around and up again into the light like a ferris wheel around and around. And some other things I've forgotten. The sitter's voice from far away. Reality fades in. Sweaty. 5 minutes. One hour - almost all gone.

Summary: Very intense short-lived psychedelic experience. The best metaphor might be a roller-coaster ride - not a daily experience but a bit of a thrill when you're at the Amusement Park.
