  oral Yohimbe (tea)

Alright, I am an 18 year old female and have been with my boyfriend (who is also 18) for about 2 1/2 years. Our physical relationship is great, but there are areas that I feel need to be improved. I had been having a lot of side effects from my birth control pills (depression, low libido, painful periods, vaginal dryness....etc.), and the only problem that I've had with my boyfriend in regards to sex is that he will lose his erection and it's sometimes very hard to get it back. Though, he has absolutely NO problem getting the erection in the first place.

I recently went to an herb shop in the area and bought a multitude of herbs that I have read about online, yohimbe being one of them. I bought 1/2 oz of yohimbe bark in powdered form.

I searched the internet to find a tea dosage that seemed safe. There was practically no information on dosage for females
I searched the internet to find a tea dosage that seemed safe. There was practically no information on dosage for females
, and even with the information I did find, I still felt a little skeptical considering the side effects of overdosing on this stuff.

I eventually decided on 1 tbsp per person, and began making the tea. I put 2 tbsp into the saucepan but ended up scooping about 1 or 2 tsp out because I was afraid we would over do it with the full amount. I poured about 3 cups of boiling water over the powder and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Straining the tea was a bitch. I wrapped a rubber band around a coffee filter in each mug and used a pin to poke a few holes in each filter. It took about 25 minutes to filter everything out and the result was an orangey red tea. It tasted slightly like dirt, but it wasn't bad. My boyfriend kind of liked it.

It was 5 pm, and we drank it outside in the sun and walked around the garden. We finished the tea in about 15 minutes and waited for it to work. We finally went inside and went upstairs and kissed. Instantly he noticed it working. I only noticed that I was really wet, but I didn't feel anything yet. It took a little longer for it to work for me, but when it finally did, WOW it hit hard.

I've never felt a kiss that felt that way. It was a total mind-body connection between us. When we made out I got shaky, and I don't think either of us have been so horny. The foreplay went on for as long as we could handle, and when he finally went inside me I just got butterflies all over. Sex was a drug. It was the best thing I have ever felt. Every thrust made me shake and quiver, and I could definitely tell he was enjoying himself. It was SO good it really almost was bad. When we really started getting into it, I started getting dizzy and nauseous and my heart was going crazy, so we had to stop and take a break. He said he felt the same way. We tried keeping our eyes open and that seemed to help with the nausea for a little while, but in all honesty I felt like my heart was going to burst right out of my chest. We would stop and start and stop and start over and over again. It still felt great, but it really wasn't enjoyable since both of us felt like throwing up on each other. We changed positions and I got on my knees. This wasn't so bad and we really started to enjoy it again. So, finally, after 2 hours of sex, he finished...with a little gasp and a quiet 'oh my god'. I've never heard him that way before. He said it was so good it didn't even feel like the same thing. Twice as potent is how he described it. All I can say is it felt twice as potent because I've never had to squeeze so much junk out of me afterward. He really messed me up : )

I never finished, but I don't think it would've been possible anyway. He tried to give me oral, but it didn't feel right. I was way too sensitive, and I just felt like I needed penetration. By that time, we were both too worn out.

The rest of night felt great. I just felt so much closer to him and I couldn't keep myself away from him. Definite euphoria. He had off and on erections throughout the night but they went away rather quickly. Nothing painful or prolonged.

We had sex again before bed, and it was pretty similar to the first experience, but definitely less intense. I had troubles getting to sleep, but he slept like a rock.

I had my doubts about it, but I'm really glad I tried it. I just wish I had tried a bit of a smaller dose. There really isn't enough information on its' effects on women, so I hope this will help someone out there. Be smart with this herb. Use with caution. I would say to start with about 2 tsp for 1 1/2 cups of water and go from there. Good luck! ; )

Note: We are both daily pot smokers, and smoked several times during this experience. I don't know if this added to the effect or took away from it. Just thought I would mention that.

( Another Note: About 2 weeks after this experiment, I loaded some of the yohimbe powder into 400 mg capsules, and we each took 2 in an attempt to somewhat recreate our previous experience, but were disappointed by the results... )
