A few days ago, two other friends and I decided the week had been a good one; t’was a week full of love and life. We decided that the weekend would be used for nothing less than a transcendental journey into the depths of our inner beings. Thus, we ventured out to purchase ourselves a vial of salvia 40x.

We had decided that we were going to meet up again later that same night. We each had certain obligations to take care of before we could depart on our journeys. I was left at home by myself with a few hours remaining before both of my good friends came back. Also, I was the one holding on to the salvia. Can you see where this was going?

First mistake – Never do salvia alone.

I was sitting in my room, on my bed, bored as hell, waiting for those two crazies to get back. In the midst of the boredom and time that seemed to be drowning me, I decided I would try some of the salvia just to see if it was the working kind. I loaded a small pinch of the 40x into my pipe. What happened next, I was not ready for.

I inhaled deeply and exhaled all the way a few times, just to regulate my heart beat and breathe before I was to leave the physical realm. Once I had stabilized myself, I took the fattiest rip on the pipe that I have ever taken before. I held the smoke in my lungs until I thought my lungs would pop and then as fast as I possibly could, I spit all the smoke out.

For a few nerve racking seconds, nothing happened.
Then, all at once, it came.

Sitting there, in the silence, alone in my house with nothing to keep my mind and reality in check, it hit me. About five seconds after exhaling the smoke, I was gone. My body had felt like some sort of giant hand from the sky came down and ripped my spirit out of my body and plunged it into some other dimensional plain of existence. I could not move. I felt like my hands were glued down to the bed I was sitting on. Of course, this started to psyche me out a bit because it all happened so fast. Then, I tried to look around at everything. I looked out at the television a few feet off to my right and I noticed the television had dimensioned itself. Not only was I able to see the television in my physical realm, but I was able to see the television in the spiritual realms as well, I was able to see all the other dimensions that the TV in the physical realm possessed. But not only for the television, it was for everything! The computer monitor had opened itself up to show its dimensions, the beanbag chairs, the video game console, everywhere and everything I saw had opened itself up to show me that everything resides with an inner dimension and there is very much otherworldly plains of existence .

This kind of spooked me. Keep in mind, this is still only like 30 seconds into my trip. The peak hasn’t even come yet.

As I was looking around at everything in my room, seeing the dimension of things, I heard myself say “What in the hell?!” However, as I heard myself say that, not only had I heard it in the physical realm, I was able to hear it in the realms existing inside of all the objects I just described to you. So to me, at the time, it sounded like I was saying “What, what, what, in the, the, hell, heeeeeell!?” But at the same time, I heard it come out of the TV, the computer, the chairs, thus I heard it come from every direction around my and the sound was amplified.

Then I closed my eyes really tight and opened them again.

When I opened my eyes, I saw everything I was looking at collapse in on itself, making everything look as if it were a picture or in 2D. Then, I saw patterns snake across my vision to break up my reality into different pieces, sort of like a puzzle, but the outlines weren’t as defined. Then, in an instant, while I was still trying to manifest everything that was happening to me, reality was torn from my vision and my physical realm was no longer there. No, I was completely in another dimension.

This is still about 2 to 3 minutes into the trip.

I saw myself in a white clearing. I was standing there with my arms completely outstretched on both sides of me. In the center of my body, there was a light glowing magnificent blue. The light signified the center of my being or the center of my existence. Then, suddenly, my arms started to stretch even more and more, making themselves longer and bigger. As they did so, they slowly began to turn into tree branches. Then, my legs went as well. As my arms and legs started to transform themselves into tree branches, my whole body started to expand and melt away. I saw branches branch out of my body in ever direction. Then, finally, I saw that I had morphed into a giant tree, however, my blue light was still glowing in the center of the tree. Then, all of the sudden, I watched the tree shrink back down into my body and I was standing there once again.

Then reality came back into view.

The entire trip lasted only about 6 minutes, but wile it was happening, it felt like it would last for an eternity. When I came back, I still felt a little strange. The strange feeling kept with me the rest of the night as I preceded to salvia trip a few more times later.

All in all, this was a mystical experience to me; however, I should have never done it alone. Always have a sitter with you, always keep your mind open and in check, and always learn from your experiences.
