It was a completely clear, crisp night, and I began the experiment by ingesting a 150mg tab of Moclobemide.

45 minutes later this was followed by 200mg of DMT extract. Myself and my girlfriend went for a walk in the woods, and psychedelic effects began to manifest. I felt incredibly clear headed, and the visual aspect seemed to remain gentle. We sat out under the stars and had a joint. It was quite cold out, so we began to wander home, when I noticed that effects were increasing, I was feeling a little nauseous and more intoxicated.

When home we put on some Shpongle, lit some incense and a candle, and I sunk beneath the covers. I also took a 3mg tab of Melatonin, knowing that this chemical, like DMT, is a naturally occurring brain hormone that affects the pineal gland, and would likely be affected by the MAOI properties of the Moclobemide.

It was not long before it did so. During this time I felt increasingly dreamy and intoxicated. I could converse clearly with my just-stoned-girlfriend, but talking was a little effort, and I was perfectly content to lie in the dark beneath the covers.

The experience changed distinctly with the presence of the Moclobemide. I felt incredibly dreamy and dissociated , and I felt like I was just saturated in warm, cottony bliss, both physically and mentally. This feeling was coupled with the raw power of the DMT and the beautiful glittering visuals. Some particularly psychedelic cannabis joints smoked during this time only complimented the feeling.

I remarked then that the feeling I had at the time was almost exactly like how I imagined heroin to be like.

A while later the DMT effects started to subside, and I began to return to a somewhat more sober, yet still quite intoxicated state of mind.

All in all, quite an interesting and enjoyable little experiment, and one with a feeling quite distinct from ayahuasca. However, I definitely think ayahuasca is more powerful in terms of healing potential. This experience seemed more hedonistic.
