Well to be be perfectly honest, from the reports I read online I expected Amanitas muscaria to be an intense trip. It was far from it, but to be fair I think we underdosed because the overall effects of the experience were mild to barely noticeable .

So here's some history, Me and My friend are in our early 20's and we're very experienced entheogenic users. I have tried THC,LSD,MDMA,Coke,Nitrous Oxide,Amphetamines,DMX,all the varying forms of Opiates, A variety of prescription Tranquilizers, Inhalants, The List goes on and on.

My friend has experience as well, he is more of a rave child however and was exposed to alot more designer drugs then me like K,Shrooms, and 2CB.

In any event we ordered an ounce of the 'Siberian Grade A' Stuff from a very popular manufacturer.

12:00- PM I Put 14-15 grams of chopped mushrooms into hot water, not boiling hot because on the bag it said something to the effect of 'the Siberian Shamans Never Boiled The Sacred Tea' and because I've read on here that boling it destroyed the chemical components.

12:30- We drink the Amanitas Vanilla Chai Tea tastes great, I start telling my friend about the Rig Veda, and about the symbolism of Soma.

1:00-Me and my friend decide to do meditation prior to the experience, So we put on the 'Tego Mego' album by Can.
I have some experience with transcendental meditation so I can easily differentiate whats a pscyhedellic visual from a visual manifestation of myu subconscious.

1:15-2:15 The Meditation is very Lucid and powerful, I'm able to dig deep within my mind and think about the things that trouble me and embrace them with open acceptance. Pretty standard stuff, the interesting part is when forms of revolving spirals(godesses) were taking shape behind my eyelids. They were mild hallucinations however. Classifying them as a hallucination is almost inaccurate.

2:15-3:30 We decided to wait reading some of the horror stories on this website before taking the rest out of impatience. My friend smoked a bowl but I passed because of an upcoming UA. We listened to 'Strange Days' by The Doors and I continued to meditate.

3:45 We decided to put the other 14 grams along with the saved mushies from the tea into a mushroom soup. We ate it made sure not to boil it, it was cooked for about 20 minutes.

3:45-5:00 Start to notice a little bit of a stupor, my friend says he's salivating alot , I am a little bit too but nothing too noticeable.

5:00-6:00 Time was so slow for this hour we walked to a nearby Taco Bell and a ten minute walk seemed like half an hour. I felt like I was on a really bad muscle relaxer. My friend also noticed the 'downer' effects.

After this there wasn't a remote bit of intoxication in me. We were really disappointed reading about the alleged 'potent effects' of this fungus and felt kinda bummed. It was overall a really Underwhelming experience. I'm gonna stick with the familiars, this one seems like a waste of time...
