I was recently prescribed to a new ADD drug called Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) by a family doctor. Vyvanse is a pro-drug form of Adderall or (d-amphetamine).

I have taken Ritalin, Concerta, and Adderall and nothing seemed to really to work out for me.

3:00 pm
I just got the drug from the pharmacy and I decide to try it out.

3:15 pm
I start to feel the effects of the drug. It felt like I took some Adderall and then smoked some weed. For those who haven’t smoked weed while taking Adderall it is the most amazing feeling one can have. It is a feeling of total relaxation from the weed, but it also has the feeling of ambition and determination to it. It basically feels like one is ready for anything but one is not wired like one is on Adderall.

5:30 pm
I finally reach the peak of the effects and it feels like I’m on Adderall. It doesn’t feel as strong though, but it feels still give me that stimulant feeling like I are top of the world.

7:45 pm
I am coming down, but the feeling isn’t a crash or “cliff-fall” it is more like a “walking down stairs”. Which is great because I hate crashing. Which all other stimulants make me do.

8:30 pm
I don’t feel the effects anymore but I still feel awake. It basically feels like a had a soda.
