The night began on a Friday when a friend and I were casually drinking and we decided to take our party downtown. While we were downtown, being our drunken-selves, we decided to score some ice (methamphetamines) and took a couple lines.

We adventured downtown for awhile enjoying the high and drinking some more at the bar. The ice seemed to have completely masked the booze. We continued drinking heavily until the bars closed and we caught a cab home.

Once we got back home, my friend and I split up the rest of the ice between us into 2 HUGE lines. This was a terrible idea, and I know this is something I wouldn't have done had I not been so drunk.
This was a terrible idea, and I know this is something I wouldn't have done had I not been so drunk.
Anxiety and panic set in so my friend and I decided to retreat to the TV room to pass the time. And wow did time ever pass-- it was 2pm Saturday when I decided to brave the outside world and head home.

This is when hell really started for me. I decided to pop a Zoplicone to calm myself down and to try to get some sleep, since I didn't get any the night before. I was laying in my bed looking around the room and things started to move a little bit. I kept staring and it seemed the more I stared, the more wild the hallucinations got. Of course in my state of mind, I didn't know that the things happening around me weren't real. Time passed quickly until 6pm came and my mom was home from work. I can't say I remember much of what happened here, but I remember crying and trying to convince my mom I could see spirits... my mom, obviously, didn't believe me so I went back to my room.

I kept seeing sparkly-looking people in my mirror and behind it, they didn't speak or anything but they would point in directions around my room. In my insane-state, I would follow to where the hallucinations were telling me to go-- I remember climbing inside my closet (thinking it was a doorway to a parallel universe) and then laying flat on top of my dresser (thinking I was actually hiding from some 'evil spirit' hallucinations).

Time passed so fast again. I'm embarrassed just thinking about how many times I must have jumped in my closet and laid on my dresser, as it was now 1am Sunday. The bad hallucinations were starting to take over and I ran into my mom's bedroom, desperately switching on/off her lights trying to warn her about what I was seeing. She was starting to get worried, thinking I must be schizophrenic. I can't remember what happened after that, I remember bits and pieces but I'm not sure how to explain them, so I won't.

Long story short? Never again.
